I'm A Stranger Here
well im a stranger here on this place called earth
and I was sent down here to discover the worth
of your little blue planet third from the sun
c'mon and show me what you've done
we've got the aeroplane, we got the automobile,
we got skyscraping buildings made of glass and steel
we got synthetic food that nearly tastes real
and a little white pill that makes you feel
heyyyyyy a whole lot better when you get out of bed
you take one in the morning for the long day ahead
we got everything everybody needs to survive
surely the good life has arrived
I think your atmosphere is hurting my eyes
and your concrete mountains are blacking out the skies
now i dont say that you've been telling me lies
but why do I hear those children's cries?
Im a stranger here - im just looking around
I see the aeroplanes carrying the bombs
why you even find people to drop them on
you know you cant keep what you take by force
but its only my first impression of course
Im a stranger here on your planet earth
we got the rivers and the mountains
and the valleys and the trees
we got the birds in the sky
we got the fish in the sea
we got the.....
ohhhhhh you crazy fools dont you know you had it made?
you were living in paradise
but take it from one who knows
who knows the gates of heaven can close
I only pray that you take my advice
because paradise wont come twice
well im a stranger here on this place called earth
and I was sent down here to discover the worth
of your little blue planet third from the sun
I think I will go back home where I come from

Oscar Wilde Said some wonderful things!
Ordinary riches can be stolen; real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.

career assesment
I just did one of those on line career assesment. It is a teaser where it gives you the first part of a snetence and then ... so that you will pay for the complete assesment
I have no intention of paying for it I was just killing some time,
But... they did sumarrize each section in complete sentences and I quite like this one for the section on People Skills
Don Quioxte!!
Highly motivated persuasion means that C intends to assertively, even aggressively, make direct personal contact with others, orally project a message with the deliberate intent and attempt to cause the listener or listeners to hear what is said, accept what is said, and act on what was said, so that C can close the deal. If it is for commission (i.e., in the seller's interest), it will be a hard-sell even though it might come across as a soft-sell. If it has philosophical or benevolent objectives, it will be a soft-sell. But if C is defending and/or championing the cause of the underdog or the less fortunate, then it will seem as if some modern-day Don Quixote and/or Joan of Arc are doing the persuading. (Note: As a single trait, persuasion is the most deliberately assertive, often aggressive, psychological expression/effort of an individual.)

A holiday!
We havent had more than a long weekend holiday in over 20 years and I am going to book a whole week this summer! I am so excited!
Going to go back to Little Manitou lake, Canada's Dead Sea. You cant sink in it!
it feels so incredible , you wouldnt believe it! Your body is held perfectly no strain or stress on any muscle! None!
I imagine that that is what a baby in the womb feels like! now I really feel sorry for them having to come from that into this world of gravity! No wonder they cry!

Twas the Night Before Christmas
The Night Before Christmas
Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In the hope that St. Nicholas soon would be there.
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.
And mamma in her kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter's nap;
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of midday to objects below—
When what to my wondering eyes should appear
But a miniature sleigh and eight tiny reindeer.
With a little old driver so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled and shouted and called them by name—
"Now, Dasher! Now, Dancer! Now, Prancer! Now, Vixen!
On, Comet! On, Cupid! On, Dunder and Blixen!
To the top of the porch, to the top of the wall!
Now, dash away! Dash away! Dash away! All!"
As dry leaves before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky,
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew
With the sleigh full of toys, and St. Nicholas, too.
And then in a twinkling I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each tiny hoof.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Down the chimney St. Nicholas came with a bound.
He was dressed all in fur from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot;
A bundle of toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a pedlar just opening his pack.
His eyes—how they twinkled! His dimples, how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry;
His droll little mouth was drawn up in a bow,
And the beard on his chin was as white as the snow.
The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke, it encircled his head like a wreath.
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself.
A wink of his eye, and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the stockings—then turned with a jerk,
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose.
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew, like the down of a thistle;
But I heard him exclaim ere he drove out of sight,
"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight!"
